Here is the latest addition to a limited edition of Lynn Thompson's signature knives. This time it's Spartan – modeled after the legendary kukri and the ancient Greek warriors of Sparta's famous sword. A power house for knives and a favorite among many, now with a serrated edge which for some is clearly preferable due to the fact that a serrated edge never becomes so dull that it does not still cut - together with the S35VN steel, it guarantees a very long lifetime of the edge.
The folding knife opens easily with the patented "Demko plate" which makes it possible to open for both left- and right-handed people while also being able to use it in connection with e.g. jeans and let the plate grab the pocket edge and thus open the knife in the same movement as you take it out of your pocket. Practical for hunting, fishing and other escapades in nature where you only have one hand available and quickly need to get a knife to cut a line or the like.
The ergonomic handle is made of G10 and fits like a slap in the hand - the rough bulge on the lower part makes it easy to hold in the hand, even if the blade gets stuck, the knife remains safe and steady in the hand. The lock is the legendary "TriAd lock" from cold steel, which has proven over decades to be the absolute best and strongest lock on a folding knife.
